Shahis Afridi is 36(??) and now planning to give up his Pakistan jersey for the more colourful wardrobe of ‘freelance cricket’.

Speaking to the media in Karachi on Monday, the cricketer said, "I have played all the cricket I wanted too and now I just want to focus and enjoy playing in the leagues." Afridi last played international cricket for Pakistan in 2016 when the captained the team at the World T20.

His latest declaration came one day after 35-year-old Roger Federer ended a 4 and a half year lull to win the Australian Open and Indian fast bowler Ashish Nehra continued a successful comeback with a solid spell against English in a winning cause.
