The third season of the Pro Wrestling League (PWL) began on Tuesday in Delhi’s Siri Fort’s Sports Complex.

The wrestling league, consisting of six teams, will continue for 18 days with the final slated to be played on 26 January.

Over 20 Olympic and World Championship medallists will be taking part in the event.

Two-time Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar, who was the costliest pick in the auction at Rs 55 lakh, will be making his debut this season and will be representing Delhi Sultans. Other big-name players include Vinesh Phogat, Olympic bronze medallist Sakshi Malik and Olympic champ Marwa Amri.
