Anurag Thakur may just be in the last day of his short tenure as the President of the BCCI.

The bench of Chief Justice of India Tirath Singh Thakur, Justice A.M. Khanwilkar and Justice D.Y. Chandrachud today gave the BCCI a one day deadline to give an undertaking that they would implement all the recommendations made by the Lodha Committee. If they fail to do so at the hearing on Friday, it is very likely that the apex court will appoint it’s own set of administrators to run Indian cricket.

With almost no chance of the board being able to make such an unconditional commitment, the BCCI’s top brass may just have to look for new ‘other career interests’ come Friday. So what does Anurag Thakur do when placed in this situtaion? Take to social media of course.

Just a few minutes after the SC hearing on Thursday, the BCCI in a string of tweets, listed out the “reforms under Lt Anurag Thakur as BCCI Office Bearer”.

Now we wonder what message the BCCI is trying to send with these tweets.
