KL Rahul (47*) and Mandeep Singh (52*) scripted a perfect comeback for India after taking India to a ten-wicket win in the second T20 in Harare.
The Indian openers begun cautiously while chasing Zimbabwe’s meager total of 99/9. But once they got their eye in, they started dominating the bowlers and took the game away from the opposition.
Mandeep Singh struck a four off the first ball of the 13th over to take India to their first ten-wicket win in T20s and his maiden fifty in T20Is.
The Indian openers, Mandeep Singh and KL Rahul have got India to a spectacular start. They have got their team past fifty in just eight overs. After a cautious start, Rahul and Mandeep started finding the boundaries with ease.
But the Zimbabwe fielders have also helped India score some runs. When Mandeep Singh went for a big shot in the off Chibhabha’s bowling in the eight over, he presented a simple catch to a fielder in deep square leg. But, the ball bounced off the fielder’s hands and went over the boundary line for six.
India: 55/0 after eight overs.
KL Rahul and Mandeep Singh have begun India’s chase cautiously. They are respecting the good balls and have put away only one boundary in four overs.
KL Rahul’s eyes lit up when T Muzarabani provided some width. The Karnataka batsman thrashed the ball through extra cover for a boundary.
If the Indian openers preserve their wickets, they will easily take their team home.

The Indian bowlers, who conceded 170 runs in the first T20, have made a spectacular comeback in the second match of the series.
Barinder got India off to a brilliant start. He picked up four wickets in the first five over, which reduced Zimbabwe to 28/4.

Bumrah gets another one! Looks like the Zimbabwe batting order is going to fold before they reach 100.
The Indian fast bowler found the gap between N Madziva’s bat and pad and got him bowled for one.

Elton Chigumbura, who was the star batsman for Zimbabwe in the first T20, has perished for just eight runs. Jasprit Bumrah got the ball to cut back sharply.
Chigumbura left a big gap between his bat and pad and the ball seeped through it and hit the stumps.
Zimbabwe: 81/7 after 16.1 overs.
Peter Moor is the only Zimbabwean batsman, who has batted confidently today and now even he is making his way to the pavilion.
After smashing two fours and a six in his 32-ball innings, he got a leading edge in pursuit of a big shot. Moor falls to Bumrah.
Zimbabwe: 76/6 after 15 overs.
Another wicket! MN Waller failed to get to the pitch of the ball and mistimed his shot completely. He tried to hit the ball over cover but presented a catch to Axar Patel instead. He goes for 14.
Zimbabwe: 57/5 after 12.
Barinder Sran is turning on the heat on the Zimbabweans. First he got H Masakadza (10) bowled in the second ball of the fifth over and then sent Sikandar Raza (1) and CT Mutombodzi (0) back to the pavilion in successive deliveries.
KL Rahul took a fantastic low catch at gully when Raza tried to run the ball down third man and Mutombodzi missed a flick shot and got trapped LBW.
Zimbabwe: 28/4 after five overs.
Barinder Sran has immediately delivered for India! CJ Chibhabha misjudged the pace of the ball and mistimed his shot, which ballooned a catch to Ambati Rayudu.

Welcome to the coverage of the second T20 between India and Zimbabwe in Harare. The Zimbabwean captain, Graeme Cremer has won the toss and chose to bat first.
Zimbabwe, who are fresh from a thrilling two-run victory against India in the first T20, will be hoping to put up a big total yet again. MS Dhoni’s men on the other hand will have to execute their plans and make sure they don’t make any silly errors like the previous game.
The Indian team has made two changes. Jaydev Unadkat and Rishi Dhawan have made way for Dhawal Kulkarni and Barinder Sran.
