Struggling IPL franchise Kings XI Punjab replaced out-of-form captain David Miller with Murali Vijay after losing five of their six games in the tournament so far.

Kings XI Punjab announces M Vijay as the captain for Kings XI Punjab for the remaining part of the IPL 2016 tournament. David Miller continues to be an integral part of the team and is a very strong player of the squad.

Kings XI Punjab’s Statement

Punjab, who are set to face table-toppers Gujarat Lions in Rajkot on Sunday, are currently lying at the bottom of the heap with just two points in their kitty.

Miller has had a tough time in the competition so far, scoring just 76 runs in six innings

Vijay, on the other hand, has been among the runs and has notched 14 in six innings.
