In Pics: Sixth Edition of Pro Kabaddi League Kicks Off in Chennai

Pro Kabaddi League is back! The three-month long tournament kicked off on Sunday, 7 October at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai. Twelves teams comprising over 200 players will compete over 3 months for the trophy of the tournament’s sixth edition.

Actress Shruti Haasan sang the national anthem, while film actor, producer, lyricist, and dialogue writer who works in Tamil films Vijay Sethupathi was present to support the sport.

The league’s opener was played between defending champions Patna Pirates – led by Pardeep Narwal – and Ajay Thakur-led Tamil Thalaivas,
