Riyan Parag (17y 175days) became the youngest cricketer in IPL history to score a half century as his 50 off 49 balls helped Rajasthan Royals post 115/9 against Delhi Capitals in their last league game of IPL 2019 at the Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi.

Rajasthan lost wickets at regular intervals right from the start after they won the toss and chose to bat first. Ajinkya Rahane, who was reappointed as captain after Steve Smith’s departure, scored only two. The rest of the batting line-up also failed to come up with substantial contribution as Parag lost partners at the other end on his way to his maiden IPL fifty.

Having already qualified for the playoffs, Delhi displayed an impressive bowling performance without their pace spearhead Kagiso Rabada who has returned to South Africa. Amit Mishra and Ishant Sharma picked up three each as Boult took two.

Delhi now need just 116 runs from 20 overs.
