The 2016 World T20 certainly lived up to its expectations and proved to be thoroughly entertaining tournament for all the cricket fans around world.

West Indies became the first nation to win the World T20 twice, they had won the tournament for the first time in 2012.

Apart from rocking the different stadiums, the teams also set the Twitter world abuzz. The World T20 had a total of 9 million tweets in the 35-match event. The tweets per match for the World T20 was more than any other international cricket event.
