Seeded eighth in the tournament, the Indo-Romanian pair were put on the back foot right off the blocks, going down 5-0 in the first set without their opponents breaking into a sweat. While Rohan and Florin did fight their way back into the opener, the second seeds proved too good as they closed it at 6-4.

The second wasn’t any easier on the ATP Finals debutants as Jean-Julien Rojer and Horia Tecau closed out the match 6-4, 6-3 in just over an hour.
