Senegal’s coach Aliou Cisse has became an internet sensation after his captivating fist-pumping celebration after winning against Poland was immortalised in an enthralling gif. It has now found its rightful place in the world of memes.

After bagging two goals against the Polish side, Senegal closed the game in a 2-1 victory on Tuesday.

Aliou Cisse’s theatrical celebration grabbed the spotlight more than the winning squad itself.

Since the underdogs have only won their opening game, this is just the beginning. The Senegal coach will be getting a fair amount of screen time in the coming weeks.

Not just the fist pumps, some of his other actions and expressions too are winning him fans on the Internet.

Cisse, a former English Premier League player, is the youngest coach in this edition of the FIFA World Cup. Cisse led the Senegal squad to the quarter finals of the 2002 World Cup with his captaincy, beating France along the way.

The sheer determination and courage to lead his country to victory has made him the star of the show.

Senegal is slated to take on Japan on Sunday at the Ekaterinburg Arena.
