The 2018 FIFA World Cup gets underway in Russia on the 14th of June and will continue on to the 15 July when the final will be played out at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow at 8.30pm IST.
32 teams are participating in the tournament and are divided in eight groups of four teams each. Defending champions Germany are in Group F with Mexico, Sweden and South Korea while Lionel Messi’s Argentina are slotted in Group D with Iceland, Croatia, Nigeria.

Group A: Russia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Uruguay
Group B: Portugal, Spain, Morocco, Iran
Group C: France, Australia, Peru, Denmark
Group D: Argentina, Iceland, Croatia, Nigeria
Group E: Brazil, Switzerland, Costa Rica, Serbia
Group F: Germany, Mexico, Sweden, South Korea
Group G: Belgium, Panama, Tunisia, England
Group H: Poland, Senegal, Colombia, Japan
The group stage of the tournament will last two weeks - from 15 June to 28 June and will be followed by the Round of 16 from 30 June to 3 July. The quarter-finals are on 6 and 7 July (two matches a day) and the semi-finals on 10 and 11 July. The third place match is on 14 July with the big final on 15 July at 8.30pm IST.
