Uruguay and Brazil have been knocked out of FIFA World Cup 2018. With just under 10 days left and five more matches to be played, the remaining teams will be eyeing the World Cup trophy at Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow on 15 July. Some highlights from the quarter-finals so far:

  • Quarter-final 1: Uruguay and France (0-2 FT Score) France beat Uruguay to reach the semi-finals of FIFA World Cup 2018. Raphael Varane and Antoinne Griezmann scored the winning goals for France.
  • Quarter-final 2: Brazil and Belgium (1-2 FT Score) Belgium beat Brazil to reach semi-finals of FIFA World Cup 2018. Fernandinho (Brazil) deflected an own goal, giving Belgium a 1-0 lead. Kevin De Bruyne scored for Belgium in the 31st minute to further widen the lead. Renato Augusto scored the only goal for Brazil in the 76th minute.
  • Belgium will now face France in the first semi-final of FIFA World Cup 2018. Fixture of the second semi-final match will be decided after today’s quarter-final matches between Sweden and England and Russia and Croatia are played.

Airtel users will be able to watch behind the scenes footage of all the matches, along with match previews/reviews.

Similarly, Jio TV will offer premium sports content for Jio users for free. Both Jio TV and Airtel TV are in a customer base war, with Jio claiming to have 100 million users while the Airtel TV app has 50 million downloads on Android.

The matches will be streamed live on the SonyLiv app. Sony has the rights for this year’s World Cup and the matches will be live on all Sony Ten channels across India.
