The IPL is not only about entertainment, it’s about coming back to the India team by performing well. The Indian hard-hitter has been hoping for a chance to return to the Indian cricket team through IPL 2017. For the last five years, Yusuf Pathan has been waiting for a chance to play for the country. The last ODI played by Pathan was against Pakistan in 2012, the last T20 he played was against South Africa in 2012, and unlucky Pathan didn’t even get a chance to bat in his last ODI or T20.
If someone performs well on such a platform like IPL, they will surely catch the eyes of the Indian team selectors.
But Pathan isn’t the only hope hoping the IPL will be his path to a comeback. Manish Pandey has his eye on the same prize as Pathan. Though Manish has had some pretty good chances to showcase his talent, he hasn’t been able to capitalise on them. The last ODI he played was against New Zealand last year, in which he got out for a duck.
