Wasim Jaffer Becomes The First Player to Play 150 Ranji Games

Wasim Jaffer is one of the longest tenured cricketers in the Indian cricket system right now. He is 41-years old and is still going strong in the domestic circuit.
Jaffer is suiting up for defending champions Vidarbha and made history by playing against Andhra Pradesh, his 150th appearance in a Ranji Trophy game.
Jaffer became the all-time appearance maker in the Ranji Trophy earlier this year, after playing in his 146th game against Saurashtra.
Jaffer had a small stint with the national team in the early-2000s. He never nailed down a spot in ODI cricket, but was the Indian opener alongside Virender Sehwag in Tests. He scored double centuries against West Indies and Pakistan.
