The Indian captain Virat Kohli said that his side will have to learn the art of crossing the line after losing by 60 runs to England in the fourth Test in Southampton on Sunday.

We know we’ve played good cricket, but we can’t keep telling ourselves that we competed. Since we get so close to a good result, we need to learn the art of crossing the line. We are getting close to a good result only because we have the ability. We need to work on reacting better during pressure situations.

The Delhi batsman made it clear that the visitors will not throw in the towel in the last Test, which begins on 7 September.

Joe (Root) was saying, it might not look like it but it has been a competitive series. We will not throw in the towel, we will come out with same intensity at The Oval.

Virat Kohli added that there were not too many negatives for the Indian team in the fourth Test.

There were not many negatives for us from this game. We need to focus on the positives.
