Twitter exploded with joy after India beat Australia in the fifth and final ODI on Sunday, and not only clinched the series 4-1, but also secured the top spot in the ODI rankings.

Rohit Sharma’s century, which made him the ninth Indian to reach the 6,000-run mark in ODIs, won him a lot of praise and love. Several users tweeted the player’s (rather impressive) stats to make their point.

Hardik Pandya won the Man of the Series award for having played some excellent cricket throughout the series.
