India are two wickets from a 3-0 series whitewash after South Africa finished the third day at 132/8 following on in their second innings on Monday.
Mohammed Shami (3/10) and Umesh Yadav (2/35) shared five wickets. The visitors are still 203 runs behind India's first innings total of 497/9.
Here’s a look at some of the stats from a day when the hosts took 16 wickets and Zubayr Hamza was the Proteas’ highest-scorer with his first innings 62.
Another Proteas Collapse
Zubayr Hamza's 62 is his maiden fifty in Tests, surpassing the 41 on debut vs Pakistan in January this year.
Faf du Plessis' performance in Tests in Asia is mediocre. He’s managed just 545 runs in fifteen Tests at an average of 22.70, including three fifties, at a poor strike rate of 37.76. His aggregate includes three fifty-plus - two against India and one (80 at Galle in 2014 - his highest in Asia) against Sri Lanka.
South Africa's average per dismissal (4.83) for the first wicket is their worst performance in a Test series when they batted atleast in five innings.
Hamza and Temba Bavuma were invovled in a stand of 91 - South Africa's first fifty-plus partnership for the fourth wicket in the present series, eclipsing the 32 between Faf du Plessis and Aiden Markram in the Visakhapatnam Test.

India On Top
Virat Kohli's eight instances of enforcing the follow-on is an Indian record, eclipsing the seven by Mohammad Azharuddin.
The last occasion when South Africa were asked to follow-on in consecutive Tests was in 2012 against Australia - Sydney and Johannesburg.
India's first innings lead of 335 in the present Test is their second highest against South Africa behind the 347-run lead in the 2009-10 Kolkata Test.
Umesh Yadav is the second pace bowler after West Indian Courtney Walsh to take three wickets or more in five successive Test innings in India - 6/88 & 4/45 vs West Indies at Hyderabad in 2018; 3/37 & 3/22 vs South Africa at Pune and 3/40 at Ranchi.
Shahbaz Nadeem is the fourth Indian bowler to take his first wicket in Tests via stumping - the first three being Woorkeri Raman, M.Venkataraman and Ashish Kapoor.
Sixteen wickets fell today - the joint third highest taken by India in a day's play - the highest being 20 vs Afghanistan at Bengaluru in 2018.
