MS Dhoni celebrated his 37th birthday on Saturday, 7 July, with aplomb! While wishes poured in for Captain Cool, the sweetest message of the lot came from his wife, Sakshi Dhoni, who took to social media to post some adorable photos of the couple (who manage to look cuter together every year).

What can we say, Mahi’s frosting-filled face matches Sakshi’s dress! The couple, along with daughter Ziva, are currently travelling with the Indian contingent on their long tour of England.
Ziva herself recorded a birthday song and message for “Papa”, and she is adorable even while telling her father he’s getting older!
The team celebrated Mahi’s birthday with loud cheers and not one but two birthday cakes!
The celebrations, no doubt, raised the team morale – as it came after their loss in the second T20 International, on Friday 6 July. England overcame Dhoni’s 24-ball 32 and chased down the 149-run total in 19.4 overs to even up the T20 series between the two teams. The third and final T20I will be played on Sunday, 8 July.
Dhoni has been in prime form since leading Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to the Indian Premier League (IPL) title in 2018. After receiving a second wind to his batting, and with his leadership and wicket-keeping still in top shape, the ex-captain will be looking to lead the team to victory in T20s before the ODI series.
