Unsold In The Auction, Imran Tahir Confirmed for IPL This Season

Mitch Marsh picked up a shoulder injury in Bangalore and returned to Australia and now it has been confirmed that the Australian all-rounder will in fact miss this season of the IPL as well.

One man’s loss is another’s gain and in walks Imran Tahir into the tenth season of the IPL.

The South Africa leg-spinner had gone unsold in the IPL Player Auction and has been picked up by Steve Smith’s Pune franchise from the registered available player pool list (RAPP list).

As per the player regulations, the team is allowed the replacement player from the RAPP list.

Last season, Imran Tahir had played the IPL for Delhi Daredevils in 2016.
