Day 3 of BWF World Championships

Good morning and welcome to the coverage of Day 3 of the BWF World Championships in China. PV Sindhu will be the only Indian player in the women’s singles draw in action today. Among the men, Kidambi Srikanth, HS Prannoy, Sameera Verma and B Sai Praneeth will be looking to make the next round of their single draw.

Recap of Day 2

On Day 2 of the championships, Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal defeated Aliye Demirbag of Turkey 21-17, 21-18 in just 39 minutes to enter the third round of the women's singles draw.

In the men’s draw, Kidambi Srikanth moved to the second round after defeating Ireland’s Nhat Nguyen 21-15, 21-16.
