“My life between 22 yards for 24 years is coming to an end” was all Sachin Tendulkar had to say to make a cricket-crazy nation teary eyed. On 16 November 2013, a day and 24 years after he walked out to make his debut for India, ‘the god of Indian cricket’ made his farewell speech at his homeground Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
