Bhavik Bhandari, the 29-year-old man who had gone missing in New York on 10 June, has been found on Thursday, 17 June by the New York Police Department with the assistance of the Indian Consulate.

He has been admitted to the Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.

Bhandari was reported missing on 12 June, after his roommate last saw him at his apartment on 10 June. A close friend of Bhandari had confirmed that he had stepped out of his apartment without his phone, but couldn’t be traced over the next few days.

Bhandari graduated with a master’s degree in strategic design and management from Parsons School of Design in 2020. He has been in New York for the last three years.
