Harsh Vardhan launches manual on asthma amid rise in air pollution
New Delhi, Nov 1 (PTI) Amid a rise in health-related problems due to increase in air pollution in the national capital, Union Environment Minister Harsh Vardhan on Thursday launched a manual on asthma which gives details of how school administration must behave in case of an emergency.
The manual is a compilation of simple, easy to understand information to know about childhood asthma and the best practices that schools can implement to provide a safe and supportive environment for children.
Vardhan said the manual will help the school administration in dealing with emergencies associated with breathing problems.
