On a normal working day, how many traffic violations do you see on your way to work? I am sure by the time you reach your destination you might lose count. That’s the situation in India.

The blatant disregard for traffic rules and unethical driving sense in India has led to a lot of fatalities. India recorded over 1.46 lakh road accident fatalties in 2017. The worst part is that the situation doesn’t seem to be getting any better.

In this episode of Geek Speak we talk about how the Indian transport system is at the mercy of offenders and goons who think that riding without helmets, tripling on a motorcycle on the wrong side of the highway is cool. We also talk about how disregard for rules has lead to fatalities and how following basic safety rules can save your lives.
