Intermittent rains lashed the southern and central parts of Kashmir for the third consecutive day, with authorities issuing a flood alert in Central Kashmir on Saturday, 30 June.

A flood alert had already been issued for South Kashmir on Friday, 29 June, after the Jhelum breached the danger mark in Anantnag.

The flood alert has been sounded for low-lying areas in Central Kashmir, including Srinagar, reported PTI. People have also been asked to remain vigilant and prepared for evacuation.
