Some of us may have already gotten a glimpse of India’s southern coast from an aeroplane. But, what does it look like from a giant satellite hovering miles above the Earth?

That question has been answered by NASA astronaut Scott Kelly who has just shown the world how stunning India, south of the Vindhyas, looks from space.

Scott J Kelly is currently breaking records for the most time spent in space with his year-long mission aboard the International Space Station.

These images, which Kelly captured when ISS was flying just above India on Jan 3, 2016, have received thousands of retweets and favourites.
