She’s part of the Holy Trinity of DC comics; Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman,
and turns 75 this year. At least, that’s when a psychologist inventor created her. But according to the universe she inhabits, she could well be over four centuries old.

She’s now played by Gal Gadot, in the 2017 DC extravaganza. The movie’s based loosely on the ‘New 52’ series launched last year, which re-booted the franchise.

Wonder Woman isn’t your run-of-the-mill comic character. Her story is interwoven with the politics of the times, as she champions the issue of feminism. Here’s a tiny video, to pique your curiousity. For everything else, just go read the comic.
