A video footage showing what looks like a dragon flapping its wings over a mountain range in China is going viral and rightly.

Sure, we all know that China is known as the land of the red dragons, but wasn't it supposed to be a historic myth? At least, we didn't anticipate the sight of a dragon flying over the mountains.

But the enigmatic yet bizarre footage that is making a lot of buzz has left us thoroughly curious about its authenticity.

The video has been uploaded on YouTube by ApexTV. It was shot near the Laos border. And since its release it has sparked much debate online. Some people think that the video gives evidence that pterodactyls still exist, whereas others have dismissed it as a software manipulated hoax.

One of the YouTube users commented beneath the video that it is a good "cgi animation" but reminds him of "those bullshit alien videos".

Well, authenticity aside, the idea of flying and might we add fire-emitting dragons is indeed fascinating. What do you think?
