Less than a week after Jo Cox was shot dead in her own constituency, another Labour Party MP Yvette Cooper was threatened on Twitter, on Tuesday.

The threat message accused her of sending pro-EU propaganda emails, adding “Please stop or I will kill your kids and grandkids.”

The account from which the message was sent appears to have been deleted.

In a later tweet, Cooper who has been campaigning for Pro-Remain for Thursday’s EU referendum said that she informed the police and Twitter about the threat, adding that they were “on the case”.
