Marvel creator Stan Lee has denied allegations of sexual harassment towards his former nurses at his Los Angeles home, reports The Independent.

According to The Daily Mail, who broke the story, the 95-year-old comic book legend would repeatedly harass the series of young nurses, who had been employed to take care of his health, in his home. The Daily Mail report said that he would ask them for oral sex in the shower, to be 'pleasured' in the bedroom and would even walk around naked at times.

Concierge Nursing Care, the company which had directed their nurses to working with Lee, had allegedly parted ways with him at the end of 2016, when they received multiple complaints of sexual misconduct against Lee from the nurses.

Lee’s lawyer, Tom Lallas said that Lee has denied all the "false and defamatory" allegations, adding that this was just a ploy by his former nurses to shake his client down for money, the report adds.

We are not aware of anyone filing a civil action, or reporting these issues to the police, which for any genuine claim would be the more appropriate way for it to be handled. Instead, Mr Lee has received demands to pay money and threats that if he does not do so, the accuser will go to the media.
Tom Lallas said in a statement, as reported by The Independent

“Mr Lee will not be extorted or blackmailed, and will pay no money to anyone because he has done absolutely nothing wrong,” Lallas added.

According to The Daily Mail, Lallas had reportedly sent a cease and desist letter to the owner of Concierge Nursing Care, an Elizabeth Weaver, on 20 December, where he accused the firm of having posted “defamatory allegations”

The company, however, has not filed any legal claim or issues a demand for money, the report adds.
