Shalabh Kumar, who emerged as the biggest individual donor to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, has been touted as potentially the next US ambassador to India.

Speaking exclusively to The Quint, Kumar said as of now these are only media reports. “In the US there’s a rule, that if you’re being considered for any serious government assignment... your mouth is shut,” he added.

He said it’s up to President Trump to decide where he fits best.

My passion by the way, is to increase the trade. As far as controlling Pakistan is considered... it’s in my blood anyway. So that part is not that big of a deal.
