On Tuesday, four policemen were killed and several people were injured in an explosion on Zarghoon Road in Pakistan's Quetta, according to Pakistani media.

A suicide bombing took place near the building of the Balochistan Assembly, as Geo News reported. The road also leads to the Chief Minister’s secretariat.

There were a large number of security personnel present as the Assembly had been in session and was attended by nearly all its members, reported Dawn. There are several other government buildings in the area so it’s usually well secured.
