A photo of a 25-year-old Afghan woman taking her University exams, while nursing her two-month old baby has gone viral on social media, inviting global praise for the tenacity of the woman’s dedication, while highlighting the struggles faced by women in Afghanistan.

As reported by CNN, Jahan Taab was writing an entrance exam - called the Kankor exam - for the social science course at a private University in Nilli city, when her two-month old baby started crying.

Yahya Erfan, a lecturer at the university who was monitoring the test told CNN that Taab then got up from her desk, sat cross-legged on the floor and went on to complete her paper, all the while nursing her baby.

Erfan had earlier put up a Facebook post, with several pictures of Taab completing her exam while nursing her baby.

It was amazing and all of the classmates were in admiration of her.

The CNN report adds that Taab, who has three children, travelled approximately six to eight hours to Nilli from her native village of Hoshto, in Miramar district, in order to write the exam. According to Erfan, Taab passed the Kankor exam with 152 points and currently wishes to attend the social science faculty.

As reported by a local newspaper, Etilatrooz Daily, Taab is married to a farmer and is concerned that she will not be able to afford university fees, which is slated at 10,000 to 12,000 Afghan Afghani ($143 to $ 172)

Twitterati seemed to love Taab’s dedication to pursuing her education, while taking care of her other responsibilities.

Through several tweets, users have deemed her “inspirational”, “a legend”, while others spoke about Afghan women being “unstoppable”.

Some have even said that this has changed their perception of Afghan women and helped them challenge the ignorance that comes in terms of their social situations.

CNN further reports that a British organization, the Afghan Youth Association, has launched a GoFundMe campaign to support Taab's studies.

The reason for the campaign is that nothing should stop this woman who have made such afford to take the exam with her 2-month-old child.&nbsp;
