Nobel Peace Prize winner and education rights activist Malala Yousafzai’s dedication to her studies has paid off. Her father, Ziauddin Yousafzai, tweeted that the 18-year-old has achieved six A*s and four As in her General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) exams.

Pakistani media has showered the teenager with praise for her outstanding performance in Britain. Nothing that Malala Yousafzai achieves seems startling any more, but she continues to make Pakistan proud, the Express Tribune wrote, with the Daily Pakistan website saying that Malala has made us proud once again.

Malala’s friend, Aseefa Zardari, daughter of former Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and the late Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto also congratulated her on Twitter.

The UNICEF congratulated Malala with the following tweet.
