On the sidelines of the ongoing G20 summit in Osaka, Australian PM Scott Morrison tweeted a picture with PM Narendra Modi with the caption ‘Kithana acha he Modi! ’

This is the first meeting of the two leaders after respective elections in their countries.

The leaders are also holding bilateral and multilateral talks along with summit meetings, reported ANI with Modi attending three multilateral discussions on Friday, 28 June apart from holding bilateral talks with US, South Korea, Saudi Arabia and Germany.

Modi also responded to the tweet with his own fun caption.

India Today reported that in his opening remarks, PM Modi said that the trilateral meeting in Osaka is a useful medium of discussion and coordination on major global issues.

"As the world's leading economies, the exchange of views between us, on the economic, political and security situation of the world, is important. Our trilateral meeting today is a useful medium of discussion and coordination on major global issues,” the report quoted Modi as saying.

The three countries, in a joint communique of the 16th Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Russia, India and China, strongly condemned terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
