Trump Grabs UK PM May (By the Hand, Thankfully) and It Is Awkward
We cringed. You will too.
By now you’d think we would all stop being surprised by the almost daily gaffes and baffling behaviour from America’s shiny new President, but he continues to exceed expectations.
This time, UK Prime Minister Theresa May had the pleasure of being on the receiving end of one of these painfully awkward interactions.

I suppose we should all be grateful he only grabbed her by the hand instead of by the... something else.
It is of course likely that he held her hand in order to simply offer her some assistance down the slope as she was in heels. But the condescending pat on the hand might have been too much. The two are world leaders after all, not a doting parent helping his toddler cross the street.
Just the previous day, Trump’s press office misspelled Theresa May’s name in a White House memo, repeatedly spelling it ‘Teresa May’, which is the name of a British porn star and model.
