Pakistani singer Komal Rizvi has become the laughing stock of social networking sites. Soon after she posted a selfie on Facebook with well-known social worker Abdul Sattar Edhi, who is ailing and under treatment in a hospital, people lashed out at her insensitivity.
There is only one man in Pakistan, only one, that has dedicated his AND his entire families life to selfless service and charitable causes for this thankless Nation and continues to do so despite his dialysis with another great man Dr.Adeeb Rizvi at the age of 90! I cannot thank Almighty enough for giving me this unforgettable moment and opportunity to meet the most important man in Pakistan. Komal’s Feeble Attempt to Defend Herself
Most social networkers felt that Rizvi had seized the opportunity to click a selfie with the ailing social worker.
After the backlash on Twitter and Facebook, Rizvi made a feeble attempt to defend herself, stating that Edhi was glad to see her.
Both Edhi Sahab and I were happy taking it. We were laughing and joking and singing and talking about other celebrity visits and how i can possibly participate in the future with their foundation.
