China now endorses the fastest running bullet train network in the world, called the Fuxing (meaning ‘rejuvenation’). These domestically developed bullet trains run at a consistent speed of 350 km/hr between Shanghai and Beijing.
The train service not only cuts travel time on China's busiest rail line by half an hour, it also ensures safety in its operations.
The train boasts more than 2,500 sensors to collect real-time indicators from all carriages, alarms to detect abnormality in air-conditioning system and more advanced shock and crash energy absorption equipment, reported Shanghai Daily.
With a 30-year life and a power consumption 10 percent lower than the previous model, the trains can adapt to varied weather and geological conditions.
With Chinese trains already making its way through foreign markets of Indonesia, Russia, Iran and India, Fusing is only going to place China at a greater stage despite her joining the high-speed track somewhat late.
