15 Killed as Plane With 100 on Board Crashes in Kazakhstan
The plane was carrying 95 passengers and five crew. Emergency services are at the site.

A Bek Air plane with 100 people on board crashed during take off from Kazakhstan’s Almaty International Airport on Friday, 27 December. Fifteen people have died and at least 66 have been injured, according to media reports.
According to the airport’s Facebook page a special commission will be put together to determine the cause of the crash.
It was identified as a Fokker-100, a medium-sized, twin-turbofan jet airliner. The company manufacturing the aircraft went bankrupt in 1996 and the production of the Fokker-100 stopped the following year, reports AP.
The plane was flying to Nur-Sultan, the country's capital formerly known as Astana.
Emergency services are at the site and further details are awaited.
