Amid the recent airstrikes in Gaza by Israel, a video showing white body bags is being shared as a recent scene from Gaza.

A Facebook user shared the video with the caption, "Birds of Paradise From Gaza."

Is the claim true?: No, the claim is false. The video is from a pro-Palestine rally in Karachi, Pakistan in 2023.

What we found: We divided the video into multiple screenshots and ran a Google reverse image search on some of them.

• We came across the same video on X dating back to 19 November 2023.

• It noted that thousands of Pakistanis renewed their pledge to the martyrs along with more than 5,000 innocent martyred children of Gaza which took place in Nishtar Park in Karachi.

Similarly, we found a report by Outlook Magazine from November 2023 which also noted the same thing. It stated that people came together to show their solidarity for Palestinians.

Recent protests in Pakistan: On Friday, thousands of Pakistanis filled the streets nationwide to demonstrate against the recent Israeli airstrikes in Gaza that resulted in the deaths of more than 700 Palestinians.

• This was supported by Pakistani political party, the Jamaat-e-Islami.

• In the capital, Islamabad, the primary demonstration occurred close to the Parliament House, while in Karachi, the nation's commercial hub, thousands marched towards the United States Consulate to express their dissent.

• Comparable protests took place in Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Faisalabad, Multan, Gujranwala, Mardan, and various other cities, as reported by Anadolu Ajansi.

Conclusion: An old video went viral to claim that this video showed body bags laid on ground in Gaza recently.
