A video on social media claiming to show police arresting a Muslim man for supposedly luring and marrying a Hindu girl is being shared on social media.
The video claimed to show a case of 'love jihad,' popularised by the right wing, referring to the supposed effort by Muslims to forcibly convert Hindu girls under the pretence of love.
What we found: We divided the video into multiple screenshots and ran a Google reverse image search on some of them.
It led us to a Facebook page which contained the longer version of this viral video. It was uploaded by Monty Deepak Sharma, a video creator as per his Facebook bio.
The bio also noted that the person was a television and broadcast artist.
It also noted that the page brings up new videos projects everyday.
Same person in different video: A video by the same Facebook page from 10 April showed the same people as the viral video.
Below is an example which shows one of them. However, the Facebook video shows all the same people in the video, furthering the truth that the viral clip is scripted.
Here is a comparison between the two frames.

The video was uploaded with the caption, "son of a soldier."
This Facebook profile contained several videos such as these.
One such video contained a disclaimer which noted, "Disclaimer, this video presents by Monty Deepak Sharma this video is a work of fiction. In no way does this video insult any stream field people from different occupations, this video just for entertainment purpose, it should not be taken seriously." (sic.)
Here is a disclaimer presented by the creator of the video.

We have previously checked another video of Monty Sharma's which had gone viral with a false claim that the incident shown was real. You can read the story here.
Conclusion: A scripted video has gone viral to falsely claim that it shows the police arresting a Muslim man was luring a Hindu girl.
