Ravish Kumar’s Report On Christian Michel Extradition Was Not Fake
An edited clip of Ravish Kumar is doing the rounds, alleging he misreported on Christian Michel’s extradition.
Senior journalist Ravish Kumar has often found himself becoming the target of online trolls. Amid the extradition of Christian Michel, a European middleman at the heart of the AgustaWestland chopper scam, Ravish has once again become victim of fake news.
CLAIM
A clip of Ravish Kumar, reporting that the Dubai court has not given any order to extradite Christian Michel to India, is doing the rounds of social media. The posts carrying the clip either take a dig at Ravish or accuse him of misreporting.
Several other Facebook pages like भारत :An Untold Story, CA Vimal Bhavsar, Shridhar Kulkarni and Tolerant Indians have also shared the clipping.

The clipping is a clear case of misleading people as it is an old clipping, and is, thus, out of context in the current scenario.
WHAT WE FOUND OUT
The clipping is a part of Ravish’s show Prime Time aired on NDTV India on 19 September 2018.
The viral clip is a portion (0:41 to 1:27) of the entire video. In the clipping, Ravish can be heard referring to Nidhi Razdan’s reporting.
A tweet by Razdan on 19 September backs what Ravish says in the video.
