The video, shot in a hilly terrain, shows uniformed men waving a white flag, presumably as a gesture asking for peace is being shared on social media platforms. Following this, they carry what looks like bodies of dead soldiers.
Those sharing have claimed that it shows Indian soldiers at the Line of Control (LoC), waving white flags to retrieve the bodies of their dead soldiers following Operation Sindoor.
What we found: At first, we divided the video into screenshots and ran a Google reverse image search on some of them.
We came across a news report by The Hindu from 15 September 2019, which carried a similar frame.
The report said that the Indian Army respects the dead and so permitted the Pakistanis to retrieve the bodies of their soldiers. The incident took place in the Hajipur sector of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

A post by ANI on X further stated that the white flag was waved by the Pakistani army to retrieve the bodies of their dead soldiers in the 2019 attack.
We also found another report by India Today which noted that the Pakistani Army raised a white flag at the LoC to retrieve bodies of two soldiers killed by the Indian Army in retaliation for unprovoked ceasefire violations on 11 September 2019.
Initially, Pakistani soldiers tried recovering one body while giving cover fire. However, while doing so, another soldier was killed. After multiple failed attempts, the soldiers raised a white flag
Similarly, the Times of India also covered this incident in September 2019.
Conclusion: This video does not show Indian soldiers raising white flag following Operation Sindoor.
