A letter purportedly shared by Pakistan government's ministry of defence is going viral which states that the ministry is 'officially terminating Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed from the Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
It further states that this step has been taken after his "failure to protect Kirana Hills nuclear facility leading to radiation leak".
How did we find out the truth?: We noticed 'Baingan | Satire' written on the top right corner of the viral image.
The top right corner reads 'Satire'.

This account was also mentioned in one of the viral posts and we found the original post from 14 May 2025.
The account's bio specifies that it only shares political satires.
The same page had shared similar fake letter stating Pakistan government is hiring video editors.
We also checked the official websites of government of Pakistan but they did not open for us due to banning regulations in India.
We checked official accounts of ministries from Pakistan on X (formerly Twitter) using VPN but did not find any authentic source that would confirm this claim.
Neither did we find any credible reports that would support the claim.
Conclusion: A fake letter is going viral as an official one to claim that Pakistan government has fired PAF Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed.
