A video showing destruction on the streets is going viral online to claim that this is a recent video from Pakistan and shows the aftermath of India's attack.
How did we find out the truth?: We performed a reverse image search on some of the screenshots from the viral video which led us to an old YouTube short shared on 1 February 2025.
The description of the video stated that it shows a small aircraft has crashed in Philadelphia.
We then performed a relevant keyword search which led us to several reports about this plane crash.
Reports shared by 6abc Philadelphia, CBS, The New York Times and BBC stated that a medical transport plane crashed into several buildings in the US city of Philadelphia resulting in killing all six people on board and at least one other person on the ground.
It added that this jet was headed to Tijuana, Mexico, with a short stop-over in Missouri.
