Is Bhim Army Chief Chandra Shekhar’s ‘Actual’ Name Naseemuddin?
Well, the claim made in the tweet has been rubbished by Chandra Shekhar Aazad himself.
CLAIM
A tweet by an account named 'Hindu First' claims that Bhim Army Chief Chandra Shekhar Aazad Ravan's name, in reality, is Naseemuddin Khan.
The tweet reads: "भीम आर्मी के नेता चंद्रशेखर रावण का असली नाम नसीमुद्दीन खान है
कितने लोगों को पता था ये❓
हिन्दुओं को तोडने की कुटिल मुस्लिम चाल"
(Translated: Bhim army chief Chandra Shekhar Ravan's real name is Naseemuddin Khan. How may people know this? This is Muslims' plot to break up the Hindus.)
The tweet had garnered over 1,100 retweets and 1,900 likes at the time of writing this article.
TRUE OR FALSE?
Well, the claim made by the tweet had been rubbished by Aazad himself.
The Bhim army chief took to Twitter to say:
(Translated: Ever since I've come across this post, I cannot stop my laughter. By the way, Naseemuddin is not a bad name.)

PAST BRUSHES WITH MISINFORMATION
This, of course, is not Aazad's first brush with misinformation. In February, several news channels had misquoted him as saying, "Hum Bharat bandh karna jaante hain, toh jalana bhi jaante hain” (If we know how to shut down India, we also know how to burn it) at an event in Muzaffarnagar.
However, in a video of the event, Aazad is heard saying “Hum Bharat bandh karna jaante hain, toh chalana bhi jaante hain" (If we know how to shut down India, we also know how to run it).
Instead of “chalaana” by which he meant running the country, they quoted him as saying “jalaana”, indicating he’s threatening to burn the country.
Chandra Shekhar Aazad had himself posted a video on Twitter and said that he would sue media organisations that had published the fake news. He had also demanded an apology from them barring which, he said, he would file a case. He had also accused them of attempting to ruin his image.
