CLAIM
The Congress party's official Twitter handle on 15 March shared a picture of a truck which carried a signboard cautioning other vehicles from blowing the horn since "the Modi govt was asleep," with the hashtag #WorldSleepDay.
"कृपया हॉर्न न बजाये मोदी सरकार सो रही है", the message on truck's bumper read.
The tweet had been shared over 1.2k times at the time of writing this article.
TRUE OR FALSE?
The image shared by the Congress has been edited, as pointed out by Twitter user Mohammed Zubair, who goes by the name @zoo_bear on the micro-blogging site.
When compared with the original picture of the truck, it can be seen that the signboard is a digital addition to the photo.
EARLIER OFFENDERS
Tweeting out the original picture of the truck, Zubair also noted that writer Madhu Kishwar had earlier shared the same picture on 20 February 2018.
Similarly, IPS officer Sanjiv Bhatt too had shared the same picture on 22 February 2018.
Both Kishwar and Bhatt were called out by other users on Twitter for having shared a picture that was quite obviously photoshopped, but are yet to take down their tweets.
