An image has gone viral on social media showing a firefighter looking at the debris from a collapsed roof inside a movie theatre.
Users sharing this image are claiming that this incident happened during the recent screening of newly released American horror, Final Destination Bloodlines.
This comes after a recent incident from Argentina where a ceiling collapsed inside a theatre during the screening this said movie.
Who shared this?: Along with social media users, Times Now also shared this image on their Facebook and Instagram accounts while linking it to the screening of Final Destination Bloodlines.
How did we find out the truth?: We performed a reverse image search on the viral photo which led us to a report shared by NBC News on 27 February.
The report carried the viral photo and the caption stated that it shows an incident where the ceiling collapsed at the Liberty Cinema in Wenatchee, Washington.
The report further states this happened during the screening of Captain America: Brave New World, however no injuries were reported from the incident.
