The picture which is going viral as Amitabh Bachchan’s look from Thugs of Hindostan is actually a portrait shot by the popular lensman Steve McCurry. An Instagram account of Steve McCurry’s portrait shots features the said photograph with the message: “I made this portrait of Shabuz, age 68, an Afghan refugee in Pakistan. Many Afghans use only one name.”
The picture is also copyrighted to Steve McCurry on another website which sells prints of famous photographers.
