An image which purportedly shows an aerial view of the 156 kilometres long Nehru Outer Ring Road (ORR) in Hyderabad is being shared on social media, where users have marveled over its beauty and length.
How did we find out the truth?: We ran a reverse image search using Google Images, but did not find any credible source sharing this image.
Next, we looked up 'Hyderabad Outer Ring Road Aerial View' on YouTube to look for visuals of the road.
This led us to several videos, some from verified channels, which showed drone footage of the road.
The company handling the project shared a photo on their website.

With these visuals, it is evident that the image in the claim is not Hyderbad's ORR.
However, the image was also not shared by any credible sources, which pointed towards the image being completely fake.
To check whether it had been created using Artificial Intelligence, we submitted it to Hive Moderation and Sight Engine.
Hive Moderation's AI content detection tool showed 99.8 percent confidence that the image was generated using AI.
Hive Moderation was sure that the image is an AI-generated one.

Similarly, Sight Engine, too, said that the image was "likely AI generated," giving it a 99 percent confidence score.

Conclusion: The image does not show Hyderabad's Outer Ring Road and is an AI-generated one.
